What a research report looks like

Every conclusion links back to a real post. If the evidence is thin, the report says so instead of pretending otherwise.

Worth buildingOct 22, 2026

An AI assistant that writes and schedules polite payment reminders for freelancers with overdue invoices.

Freelancers repeatedly describe late payments as an emotional and administrative burden. They do not need another invoice generator; they need help writing the follow-up. Existing tools either schedule generic reminders or target finance teams. A focused product with a review step and relationship-aware copy has a credible wedge.

FAQ

Questions before you start

Where do the ideas come from?+

Every day we scan Product Hunt, Hacker News, GitHub, Hugging Face, and Reddit. Each row links to the original post, repo, or product page so you can verify it yourself.

How are the scores calculated?+

Each idea gets five scores from 1 to 5: demand, willingness to pay, traffic potential, competitive gap, and buildability. The total is out of 25. Hover any score to see the reasoning.

What counts as one research credit?+

One credit produces one research report. Free accounts get one credit at signup, Pro gets five every month, and a research pack adds five credits that never expire.

Is the research just ChatGPT with a prompt?+

No. The pipeline searches Hacker News, Reddit, and the web, then validates every URL in the report against the search results. If it cannot find evidence, it lists the gap instead of inventing one.

Can I keep the spec and prompts?+

Yes. Every idea and report includes a Markdown spec, tech stack, copy-ready prompts, and a checklist. Download the report as Markdown or copy each prompt.
